The BANDH imposed at Moreh town and on NH 39 Indo-Myanmar road by the Apunba Meira Paibi Lup (United Meira Paibi Organisation), Moreh has been called off from today following an assurance given by the authority of sending a doctor to the Moreh Hospital from tomorrow onwards.
A meeting of all community leaders and Apunba Meira Paibi Lup, Moreh was held today at the office of Hill Tribal Council (HTC), Moreh to discuss the prevaliling situation following the closure of all shops, markets and government offices located at Moreh town.
While the meeting was going on, SDPO, Moreh M Rameshor came to the office of the HTC and talked to the community leaders.
He assured them that for the beginning, one doctor will be sent to the Moreh Hospital from tomorrow by the government authority.
Keeping full faith in the assurance of SDPO Rameshor, the Apunba Meira Paibi Lup announced withdrawal of the bandh with effect from today.
