GPRN/NSCN and Ceasefire Monitoring Cell of the NSCN's Khurmi region have urged for free and fair interview for the recruitment of the post of District Programme Manager (DPM) under National Rural Health Mission slated for August 28 at the Secretariat, Imphal.
A joint statement issued by the GPRN/NSCN and Ceasefire Monitoring Cell, NSCN Khurmi Region conveyed that the interview is held free and fair.
It also urged to give preference to eligible local candidates who meet the criteria of the NHRM guidelines.
The statement further warned to take necessary and befitting punishment against any individual or group in case any report of misconduct or bribery in the recruitment process is received.
It may be mentioned that the post for the District Programme Manager (DPM) of National Rural Health Mission in Chandel district has been lying vacant since a year ago.
The Deputy Commissioner of Chandel district was intimated by the Mission Director, State Health Society, Manipur to recommend four/five candidates from the district against each published vacancy notification.
