'Naga solution and integration is main objective'

The Naga People's Front, NPF was launched to end 60 years of Naga struggle and work for early Naga solution and integration all Nagas under a single administration.
This was stated by G Gaingam, President of NPF Manipur Unit during the public meeting at ZM Auditorium, Tamenglong after the opening of party office at Tamenglong district
HQs today.
He said that after 60 years of Naga struggle interim arrangement has reached and now Naga people should stand together and enjoy it.
"Let us not postpone Naga problem into next decade", he said.
While retracing the launching of Naga People's Front in Manipur where the Manipur government strongly opposed the launching program, he asked the participants of the public meeting whether Zeliangrong leaders want to join the opposing side or Naga People Front and end suppression.
.ZLohe, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Nagaland who also attended the public meeting said that NPF will work for Naga to come under one administration adding that this is the main agenda.
Naga People's Front is pro NSCN: IM, NSCN: K and NNC, as they are brothers and work for the Nagas.
'If you want to unshackle yourself from the suppression of Manipur government, NPF is here to protect yourself from such suppression', Z Lohe said.
Having faced suppression from various government, Z.Lohe said the Naga people in Manipur are living at the survival edge.
Taking note of the Rongmei tribe recognition in Nagaland the central NPF team said that the process is under way and NPF will work for early recognition.
The central team also assured the Tenning via Tamei road in Nagaland side will be improved.
Hundreds of people from all walks of lives attended the public meeting, however no resolution was taken at the end of the meeting.
Timikha Koza, Legal Advisor to Chief Minister Nagaland, Zaku Tsukru, Vice President NPF Central, members of Manipur Unit, Zeliangrong leaders attended the public meeting and the hoisting of party flag at the heart of the district HQs.
Meanwhile, talking to this reporter G.Gaingam, President of NPF Manipur Unit said that the candidates for three constituencies of Tamenglong have not been finalized.
All constituencies in Naga areas will put up its candidates in the forth coming Manipur general election.
NPF also hopes to put up candidates in other constituencies, Gaingam said.
