Imphal, February 05 2010:
The armed United Kuki Liberation Army (Military Council) has once again issued last warning to the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the Autonomus District Councils, specially the CEOs of Churachandpur and Sadar Hills, to sort out the pending issue with the organisation within two days' time.
Jameson Kuki, Information and Publicity, UKLA (MC) today informed that the grace period given to the CEOs was running out soon and failure to solve the issue will be taken seriously, and the consequences will be at their own risk.
"This is the last warning and no further information will be given," warned Jameson Kuki.
The UKLA(MC) also warned other organisations not to poke their nose in the matter, because it was purely a matter between the officers and the UKLA(MC).
Any interference shall not be tolerated.
This is not against any organisation.
The officers may be held responsible for any kind of interference from anybody, Jameson Kuki further warned.
He further stated that failure to pay heed to this warning shall be regarded as an open challenge to the organisation and there will be no forgiveness even in future and action will be taken at any opportune time.
He said, two days' time, i.e.till February 7 is being given as the last date to clear the matter with them.
