Child Scientist Award for CC student

Imphal, January 13, 2012:
Th Raghunath, a class XII science student of CC Higher Secondary School, Imphal has been conferred with Child Scientist Award during the National Children Science Congress which was held as a part of 99th Indian Science Congress at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) University, Bhubhaneswar from January 3 to 7. His exhibit on 'Low cost multi-purpose seed sowing cum fertilizing machine' was judged as the best model of the Children Science Congress and he was conferred with the Child Scientist award.
The students and staff of CC Higher Secondary School have congratulated Raghunath and his guide O Mohindro Singh, a teacher of the school.
Both of them have participated in the Congress.
The staff and students of the school have also hailed L Amarjit, a student of the school, whose model on 'Low cost eco-friendly agro machine' won first prize in another recent science exhibition organized under the aegis of SSA.
The prize winning science model too had been developed under the guidance of Mohendra.
