The banned People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) and its armed group 'Red Army' have offered revolutionary salute to two of their cadres �Pvt Leishangbam Bishore @ Manaoton (19) and Pvt Bhramacharimayum Sanjit @ Amumacha (20) � who lost their lives in an encounter at Kangchup Makhom Khundon Mayai in Senapati district with a combined force of 16 AR and Imphal West district police commando on February 3 .
In a press release, Secretary In-Charge of the Department of Publicity and Propaganda, PREPAK, Aheiba Angom stated that Pvt Manaoton and Pvt Amumacha had received military training in the 30th and 32nd batches of the party respectively, both were dedicated members of the 'Red Army' and were instrumental in executing various programme of the outfit during a short span of their life within the party.
It said that on the day the encounter took place, the combined force had surrounded the place where the red army had stationed.
The cadres of the party tried to make their way out when the encounter took place resulting in the loss of two lives.
The courage of the two revolutionaries would be remembered by their comrades, Aheiba Angom stated.
Further, denying the PIB (Defence Wing) statement that the encounter was between the combined force of AR and police commando with the combined force of PREPAK and NNC, the statement said that it was part of a ploy to cast the party into the wrong light.
It further stated that the party is well prepared to face any challenge in its struggle to free 'Kangleipak' and added that the IOF should understand that the party has never sought the protection of other parties to carry out its mission.

The party also joined the family members and relatives of the two deceased in this time of their grievances over the lost of the two lives.
