Chief Minister, O Ibobi, his council of ministers and MLAs are always trying to translate into action those commitments given to the people by the Secular Progressive Front (SPF) government, said state works minister, K Ranjit today.
The minister was speaking at the inauguration function of a community hall at Kwakta Bazar in Moirang constructed by the Manipur Development Society (MDS) at a estimated cost of Rs 31.85 lakh.
State education minister, L Jayentakumar, MLA Prithivraj, Chief Whip of Manipur government, MLA T Mangibabu, chairman of the Manipur Pollution Control Board, E Dwijamani, chairman of the MANITRON, Kh Ratan also took part in the inauguration function.
Ranjit further speaking stressed the need of electing good representatives by the people.
Translation of into works to the commitment given by the SPF government during the bye-election to Moirang A/C has started.
Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, O Ibobi, the SPF government is efforting for bringing equal development in both hill and valley.
His department has also earmarked Rs 3 crore for developing road network within the Moirang A/C.While observing that quarrels arising out of using intoxicated items sometimes prone to happening of communal tension at Kwakta area, the minister appealed people to calm down and control such untoward incidents every time.
Education minister, L Jayentakumar informing the gathering that an agreement between the Apunba Lup and government has reached today said that today is one of the happiest days.
He also assured mark changes in the education system in the state in shortage time.
