The Lairemba and Lairembi were brought from Bashikhong Keithel in their dedicated shrines.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister asserted that the multi-storey women's markets are now properties of the public.
People should treat it as their own asset and take care of it.
He also appealed to the people to take responsibility to keep the markets neat and clean.
He assured of round the clock water and power supply from the government's side in the three markets while reminding that it is the responsibility of the market vendors to take care of public property.
He also sought support of the people to make Imphal one of the cleanest cities not only in India but in the globe.
His government will not hurt the interests and sentiments of the people, the Chief Minister said while reiterating that the newly constructed women's market-sheds were for the licence holder women vendors.
In fact these market-sheds are the properties of the licence holders.
It will not be fair to cancel the licence of earlier vendors to accomodate vendors without licence.
Government will go by the law, he added.
Government will invite people's opinion before taking up steps for filling up vendor seats lying vacant after seat allocation to the licence holders is completed, Ibobi said.
