Health and Family Welfare Minister Ph Parijat visited Churachandpur district hospital today and inspected the shortcomings and requirements of the hospital.
The Minister also assured that he will put in his best efforts to provide the basic requirements of the hospital.
During his visit, Parijat interacted with the doctors and nurses of the hospital.
Capitalising on the visit of the Minister, the hospital authority also submitted a memorandum highlighting the shortcomings and basic requirements of the hospital.
Later speaking at a function organised by the Churachandpur staff of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Parijat remarked that the Churachandpur district hospital is the second best after JN Hospital in terms of infrastructure and service provided to the people.
He pledged that the hospital will be upgraded with a capacity of more than 200 beds for which necessary infrastructure and other requirements will be provided soon.
The Health and Family Welfare Minister was accompanied by MLA Hangkhanpao.
