Imphal, January 02:
A team of Eastern Sporting union, Wangkhei left Imphal to compete in the Nike-sponsored Manchester United Premier Cup Under-15 Football Tournament to be held at Mumbai from January 10 till 13.In all 15 clubs and teams from the nation's football academies would compete in the tournament with the champion side slated to represent India in the South East Asia edition of the Cup.
Winners of the Asian leg would finally take part in a tournament to be held at Manchester.
The ESU team was led by L Romesh as manager and S Rohendra as the coach.
