Highlighting plight of the student community due to ban imposed against Medical and Engineering Coaching Institute (MECI) by student body DESAM, students, guardians and authorities of the Institute today appealed for lifting the institute-closure diktat of DESAM.
Interacting with reporters in a joint press meet today, representatives of MECI, its students and guardians contended that mis-understanding among parties concerned created the row that subsequently led to closure of the Institute on Dec 29.Advocating forget and forgive principle, they urged all concerned for appropriate measures to assist the students in pursuing their goals.
In addition to conflicting reports of MECI authorities man-handling DESAM volunteers connected to monetary donation, the student body had proclaimed indefinite closure of the Institute on Dec 28 accusing MECI authorities of relying on financial gains only.
It may be mentioned that police had arrested some DESAM volunteers in connection with the issue.
