Imphal, August 02: Riding on two second half goals from Premjit adding to an eighth minute opener through Ramesh Neroca, Laipham Khunou scored a convincing 3-1 win over Citizens� Club, Soibam Leikai in the MK Ghanendrajit Memorial Imphal East Super Division Football league tournament which resumed at THAU ground today after a brief halt owing to unplayable ground conditions.

Today�s match is the final tie for both sides in the first phase of the double leg tournament.

After Ramesh had provided the early breakthrough followed by the Soibam Leikai side�s equaliser in the 48th minute through Sh Surjit Sharma, Premjit ensured the Neroca win with goals in the 49th and 85th minutes.
