Imphal, August 02: The all women team with messages of preserving hill-valley relationship oversaw the conditions of Tamenglong district and Jiribam sub-division villagers from close quarters and recommended necessary measures for improvement of the Imphal-Silchar National Highway, reached the sub-division headquarters today.

The team left Imphal yesterday but due to a technical snag of the vehicle, interaction sessions with village elders along the route and overnight stay at Sibilong village reached Jiribam today at around 11 am, said a UCM release quoting the team leader Keisham Taruni Devi as saying.

Upon reaching Jiribam the works Minister Th Debendra, who is currently camping at his home constituency to monitor NH-53 development work, was intimated on necessity of improving large section of the national highway, the release conveyed.
