Imphal, October 19 2008:
The District Project Officer (SSA), Imphal East organised 'free assessment camp for identification of persons with disabilities' at Rahmania High School, Kshtrigao yesterday.
During the camp organised in collaboration with the State Medical Board and Social Welfare Department a total 194 individual, including youngsters in the age group of 6-18 years were assessed.
A DPO (SSA) statement informed that 72 persons were categorised under LD, 43 falling under the H/1 class, 22 in V/1 category and 57 classified as M/R.
