Greeting the people of Manipur on the eve of Idul Zuha, the Jamiat Ulama-I-Manipur called for peaceful co-existence and mutual love.
A press release issued by Jamiat Ulama-I-Manipur further informed that prayer session for Idul Zuha will be held at Babupara Jame Masjid at 9.30 am, Sadar Bazar Jame Masjid at 9 am and Hatta Imphal Masjid at 8.30 on December 21.On the eve of Idul-Zuha and Christmas festivals, the All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) has conveyed best wishes to the Muslim and Christian communities of the State.
The AMESCO, in a press release, wished that these festivals may herald harmony and prosperity in Manipur.
On the occasion of Idul Zuha, the AMESCO will be organising a programme on Katthopka Amadi Nungshi Chanana Hingminnaba at A Gani English High School, Hatta Minuthong, added the release.
The United Committee Manipur (UCM) has also greeted the Muslim community of the State on the eve of Idul Zuha.
It also prayed that the festival may bring mutual love irrespective of community or ethnic group, unity, equality, development and peace in the State.
In its greeting for Idul Zuha, the AMSU wished that the festival may wipe out all differences and conflict of opinions among the people of the State and herald peace and unity in the society.
The RJD Manipur State unit has also conveyed best wishes to all the people of Manipur, particularly Muslim community on the eve of Idul Zuha festival.
