Imphal, November 16: It was a six hours meeting stretching from 3 pm to 9 pm, officially, but only one resolution was adopted.

On the other hand �hungry� reporters doing the political round had to wait for the spokesman of the SPF Government and MPCC (I) President Gaikhangam to come out and convey what was said and discussed at the Cabinet meeting after much questioning.

The only decision adopted was to standardise teachers' education in tune with the demands of the time following an MoU with the Centre on the financial front.

This was conveyed only after the reporters raised specific questions! According to the spokesman the other agenda discussed included �how many employees to be recruited as para-medical staff in the Health Department, taking into consideration the financial position of the State Govt�.
