Marempu Kabui , N Boynao in Indian Muaythai Team

Imphal, September 06 2011:
Two talented Muaythai players of Manipur namely Golmei Marempu Kabui and Naorem Boynao were selected by the Muaythai Federation of India to represent India in the World Muaythai Championship 2011 being held at Tashkent city of Uzbekistan.
The World Championship being held from September 20 to 27 will see participation of players from about hundred countries.
A 16 member Indian team will participate in the Championship .
Marempu Kabui will compete in junior male 48 kg category while Naorem Boynao in senior male 54 kg category, according to a release issued by the Manipur Amateur Muaythai Council.
It may be noted here, that Marempu Kabui born at Tamphakei Kabui Khul under Konthoujam, has so far won altogether 10 gold medal in State and National Championships beisides Bronze medal in the TAFISA World Sports for all games 2008 held at Busan city of South Korea, bronze medals in World Muaythai Championship 2007 and 2009 held at Bangkok.
Born at Kakching Phousupat Ward number 4 Naorem Boynao who is presently receiving training at Bulguria, won a silver medal from World Championship held at Bangkok in 2010 and participated at the World Championships held at Bangkok in 2009 and Asian Championship held at Iran this year.
