The 15 days 'Football Development Programme' conducted by District Sports Association, churachandpur at Public Ground under the aegis of AMFA concluded today.
in all 191 players, including 35 girls, in the age group of 12 and 14 years took part in the programme which began on June 22.presentation of certificates to the football aspirants and gifts to coaches marked the closing function held with AMFA secretary L Ranjit Roy and DSA (CCpur) president Samte as the chief guest and president respectively.
In his brief remarks, Samte observed that football development programme in the grassroots level at churachandpur district is progressing in a favourable manner with sincere assistance and cooperation of all involved in implementing Asian Football Confederation's 'Vision India Project'.
The AFC project is taken up in two states of India with the other being Delhi.
In Manipur four districts have been identified to for the AFC vision on developing football in India.
