With the objective to train rural girls on basic nursing care and to provide them an avenue for self-employment, 25 girls from remote areas of Ukhrul and Senapati districts are being imparted a three month nursing training free of cost by 13 AR under the aegis of HQs 10 Sector, said a press release issued by the PRO of HQs IG AR (S).
Speaking on the opening function today, Col LC Dahiya assured the girls of assistance from AR even after the completion of their course in securing employment.
After the completion of the course, the trainees would be given certificates from the Red Cross in addition to first aid kits free of cost, mentioned the release.
