The 3 day long NH 39 bandh called by the Twineh River Sectioning JAC from midnight yesterday has been suspended following an agreement with the Deputy Commissioner of Senapati.
Speaking to reporters today at Keithelmanbi, chairman of the JAC Letgou Lhouvum disclosed that the stir was suspended at around 1 pm today after the Senapati DC Dr Prem assured to fulfil the demands of the JAC.
According to information received from police, some civil vehicles coming from Imphal along with army convoy were damaged by suspected bandh supporters.
