The second match of the day neither lived upto the expectation of the few spectators nor resembled a competitive game after insistence of the Meiraa players for a penalty corner was turned down by the official.
Apparently exhibiting displeasure to the official declining the penalty corner, Meiraa players not only let down their guard but also did not care to check inroads of the HU forwardline and allowed 17 goals in the protesting period - all scored by W Chitra in between the 58th minute and 69th.The other HU goals were scored by L Bikram (7th), P Hemjit (44th, 53rd, 56th) and N Priyokumar (57th).Both the Meiraa goals were scored by Th Tompok (17th, 25th).Earlier, in the first match between PHAm and KhSC Kh Kothajit (3rd, 50th), Ksh Wangamba (19th), N Abung (22nd, 62nd, 63rd), Ch Umakanta (27th, 67th) and Ksh Anganba (45th) sounded the Khongman board while L Heramani (9th), L Purnachandra (14th) and L England (23rd, 52nd) scored for the losing side.
