Imphal, October 26:
Hmar Students' Assn (HSA) has announced its decision of extending support to the ongoing economic blockade along the National Highways 39 and 53 over the demand for revival of the abolished Die-in-Harness scheme in Manipur.
The decision to extend support to demand for revival of Die-in-Harness scheme has been taken in view of the problems being faced by the victims, general secretary of the student body said, while appealing to all transporters to stay away from plying their vehicles along the two national highways.
The transporters and the SPF Government should also bear the responsible for any untoward incident that might occur on the trucks/vehicles if they ply in defiance of the strictures, the student body warned.
