In continuation of its agitation to set all seized official files and documents on fire, volunteers of the Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) consigned to flames about 100 official files confiscated from two State Departments.Moreover, MSF have made all preparations to launch more severe modes of agitation in its struggle to ensure regular classes to the students of aided colleges.
Producing the files and documents confiscated by them at Kongpal Kongkham Leikai today, MSF volunteers told reporters that the files and documents belong to SCERT office located within DM College campus and the office of PWD Division-II, Lamphel.
They disclosed that MSF has made all preparations to launch more severe modes of agitation if the State Govt still fails to give any positive response towards its demand for resumption of regular classes in aided colleges despite the ongoing campaign to burn official files.
The official files and documents were set on fire near the bridge of Kongpal Kongkham Leikai.
On the other hand, employees of SDC office Heirok and Electricity office Ningthoukhong who defied the public curfew being imposed by MSF on Govt offices were dispersed by MSF volunteers besides destroying some office furniture, said a press release issued by the student body.Moreover, some official files and documents were also confiscated from SDO office Kakching after sending away the employees, it added.
