Imphal, April 22:
Under NCUI Project, Bishnupur, a total of 200 citrus plants were planted at Naorem in Bishnupur district today, informed a release.
The saplings were provided by the Horticulture Department, ICAR (NE region) free of cost.
The plantation of citrus fruits including oranges was led by chairman of the Project Coordination Committee Khaidem Borkeshore.
The plantation programme was jointly organised by the NCUI Project and the Farmers' Club, Naorem, added the release.
