Governor Arvind Dave and Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh have conveyed their greetings to the people on the occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba festival.
In his message, Governor said that 'with the arrival of another New Year, we have to remember that we should not allow ourselves to get bogged down in issues of yesterday.
Instead, we must march forward, correcting mistakes of the past, and keep our eyes firm on where we want Manipur to be in future'.
In New Year, we have to pledge for the emergence of a new Manipur through collective efforts, he said, hoping that New Year would usher in an era of peace, prosperity, progress and happiness for Manipur and its people.
Chief Minister, in his message to the people said, 'Cheiraoba gives us an opportunity to set aside our differences, come together and work unitedly for a peaceful and prosperous Manipur'.
Chief Minister also hoped and prayed that Cheiraoba would bring peace and prosperity to all the people of the State.
