Imphal, November 22:
Movement of Tribal Peoples Rights, Manipur (MTPRM) has urged the Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh to cancel the order with regard to declaration of results for Anganwadi Helpers and Workers and the approved list for setting up of Anganwadi Centres.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, MTPRM president S Ramhaoleng said that the organisation has come across discrepancies in the manner of dealing by the State Social Welfare Department more specifically the manner of selection of site for Anganwadi centres.
The declaration of results for selection of Anganwadi workers and helpers without conducting the DPC is also totally against the laid down norms.
