Imphal, March 26: In connection with the gunning down of MSF joint secretary Huidrom Shyamsundar on March 22, the proscribed outfit PREPAK has appealed to the general public not to hold the party responsible for the brutal murder and instead condemn the persons who have committed the beastly act (Huidrom Shyamsundarbu meenungshi yaodana tamthina hattokpikhiba adu PREPAK oina ubiganu, meehatpa adu khakta oina ubiyu).

In a statement, the Dept of Publicity and Propaganda (PREPAK) lauded the public in general and MSF in particular for raising their voices against the killing of Shyamsundar and added that the party would always extend its support and cooperation whenever the public stand up and speak out against the murder of any innocent civilian by either the security forces or underground outfits.

PREPAK stands for the people and would never be able to exist without the support of the masses, asserted the statement adding that the party has never punished an accused without a proper trail.
