Imphal, March 26: The election campaign for the BJP for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency began today.

The BJP flag was unfurled at the Nagaram office by the BJP President Th Chaoba Singh today morning.

A public meeting was held at the Senapati ground.

The National Secretary Meinam Bhorot speaking on the occasion said the Chief Minister is now more popular as Cashier Ibobi as cash sharing has become a normal activity.

Reacting to the allegations that India is shining and Manipur crying he said it is the failure of the Congress led SPF government to make Manipur shine.

The road to Mao is deplorable while the road from Khoizuma to Dimapur is in tip top condition he compared.

The BJP led NDA government is deeply concerned about the welfare of the people specially the tribals, thus the Tribal development ministry was formed.

Earlier it was attached to Social Justice Ministry he said.

He said the BJP has formed concrete alliances in most the states and in UP, Bihar, West Bengal and Orissa the BJP will get most of the seats.

There are about 200 seats from these states he said.

As a national Secretary he can assure that those who win from Manipur will get ministerial berths he said.

The Congress President Sonia Gandhi is desperately seeking for alliances and to a party which has no base it has surrendered he said.

Sharad Pawar is dictating terms resulting in the giving away of the Outer seat to the NCP he said.

The rice, kerosene meant for the people have not reached 'the people.

He said the candidate for Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency Loli Adanee is a smart person with a political mind.

None from Senapati district has won the Outer Manipur PC elections he said.

The total numbers of Senpati district is 1.8 lakhs.

He further said that the presence of large numbers of leaders from the seven valley Assembly segments show that those in the valley will vote for Adanee.

The 1.8 lakh valley voters will play a crucial role he said.

He charged that Holkhomang Haokip did not fulfill his announcement that Rs one crore worth of rice will be distributed.

He further asked the voters to question if Holkhomang Haokip gave any money for the development of Senapati district.

There is no development in the hills during the Congress regime he said.

Equal development of the hills and the plain are a much to bring people closer.

President's Rule is imposed in the hill areas as local body elections are not held for the last 15 years he said.

Adanee said leaders have to play a big role in shaping the fate of the people He said he love the people so much that he gave up his service to work for the people.
