Imphal, November 07:
Even though GOC 3 Corps has assured taking fitting action against Captain Pillai and his men for snapping power line to Imphal and the matter is being processed in the Civil Court, no action has been initiated against the personnel despite issuing warrants.
Following a prayer made by Patsoi Police Station that registered an FIR case on the matter, a Duty magistrate had on November 3 issued non-bailable warrants of arrest against the delinquent Captain and his 50 subordinates.
The Magistrate referred the case records to the CJM Imphal.
The CJM received the records on November 5 and the same Court again referred the case to Judicial Magistrate First Class Imphal West today.
Even as the Court has already issued the warrants, the police have not effected it till today raising doubts on the efficiency of the police officials in discharging their duties in the minds of the public.
