PMT successful students feted

Millennium Institute of Sciences, Mayai Koibi organized a felicitation programme today for its students who excelled in the recent MBBS/BDS Examination.
Four students of the Institute got through the entrance examination.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, some of the selected candidates conveyed discontentment over the belated counselling of selected candidates in Manipur, which they said is likely to hamper their aspiration to pursue medical studies in other states.
It was pointed out that contrary to the Medical Council of India (MCI) fixing August 1 for commencement of session for MBBS/BDS, in Manipur the session commences about a month later that the specified period.
A firm foundation is a necessity in facing any competitive examination, said the students adding that the Institue provided them with all the basic requirements.
An ex-student of the Institute and the second position holder in the PMT, Kabita Athokpam of Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal, Md Shahjuddin Shah (6th) of Panggong Makhong , Moirangthem Sanatombi Devi (24th) of Kongba Ucheckon Juvrajpalli and Sandeep Bangarwa (55th) of Paona Bazaar were felicitated.
