The Ningtham Meepham (winter session) of Kangleipak Communist Party (Military Council) was reportedly held at its Gen Hqs located somewhere in Ukhrul district from December 15 to 21 and deliberated on various important issues.
According to a statement issued by secretary of military affairs of KCP (MC) Lanheiba Meitei, the session deliberated on strengthening the position of the party and make it a force to reckon with in the ongoing freedom struggle.
Members of KCP (MC) who were present in the session also discussed on welfare measures to be taken up for the people so as to win their confidence while out-lining the necessity of bringing about an economic revolution in the State, Lanheiba said.
Taking serious note of the ongoing gun-battle between the MPA cadres of UNLF and the Indian security forces, Lanheiba said KFL cadres of KCP are prepared to help the MPA cadres if they ever get any chance to do so.
Coming out strongly against misusing the name of KCP (MC) by some gangsters in extorting money from the people, Lanheiba appealed to the family members of these gangsters to prevail upon them and reform their characters while there is time.
KCP (MC) would not entertain any complaint for clarification from the family members after it has done the needful, Lanheiba said, while cautioning impostors like Lamjanba Khuman, KC Meetei, Lallumba, Loiyumba, Chalamba and their gang members.
Setting December 31 as the deadline, KCP (MC) has also warned all restaurant owners to ensure that decency is maintained in their restaurants.
KCP (MC) would not given an further warning in this regard, Lanheiba said.
KCP (MC) would also be coming out with the report of demoralising activities of Manipuri students in other parts of the country, Lanheiba informed.
As to the cleansing operation of the outfit in the Social.
Welfare Department, Lanheiba said KCP (MC) would never be able to forgive the Minister and the Director.
People should not allow them to grace any public function and KCP (MC) should not be held responsible any eventuality in this connection, Lanheiba said, adding that the three members selection committee who are still trying to make appointment on the sly would be awarded capital punishment.
There would be no reservation against women officer in this regard.
