Imphal, August 03 2009:
The proscribed KCP (MC) has greeted the people of Manipur on the occasion of its third raising day which falls on August 3 .
In his raising day message, the outfit's commander-in-chief Lamyanba Khuman wished that peace, stability and egalitarianism may reign in Manipur from this day onward.
Reminding that the KCP (MC) was founded on August 3, 2007 with the committed pledge to put Manipur among the league of sovereign Nations of the world, Lamyanba Khuman acknowledged that whatever achievement achieved by the outfit has been because of people's support.

Observing that impoverished families and daily wage earners constitute a large majority of the population of Manipur, Lamyanba Khuman said that KCP (MC) would pay special attention to the welfare and rights of this section of people.
In the first phase, the outfit has already intervened for the cause of the workers/labourers working in brick fields, stone crushers and hospitals/clinics.
The outfit would soon fix daily wage of labourers, Lamyanba said.
Saying that the outfit would be covering all departments and private firms where labourers are being employed, the outfit sought cooperation from all sections of the society towards its initiative to ensure due wages to the labourers.
The outfit also asked hospitals/clinics to reduce their fees/charges for admission, treatment, occupation of room, laboratory tests etc.
A commensurate rate would be calculated by the outfit and the same would be conveyed to the public through mass media, Lamyanba informed.
The outfit also invited suggestions/opinions regarding its activities/programmes through [email protected] or [email protected].
Referring to the BT Road firing incident of July 23, Lamyanba Khuman asserted that all the ploys employed by Chief Minister O Ibobi to befool the public have been exposed to the whole world.
At present, police commandos have been using surrendered, jailed or retired UG cadres as their scapegoats for killing civilians and to display their 'heroism' by eliminating the retired/surrendered UG cadres.
The outfit cited the case of Chungkham Sanjit in this regard.
People are well aware of how much income police officers get from the Government and how they built their palatial and luxurious homes.
Even former Governor Ved Prakash Marwa had commented on the matter, the outfit remarked.
Claiming that it has a list of all the covert and overt activities perpetrated by Chief Minister O Ibobi, KCP (MC) said that the list would be publish in the media at an opportune time.
