Demanding the Chief Minister, O Ibobi to apologize to the people of Manipur for announcing that Ch Sanjit was killed in an encounter, Y Kapoor, a human rights activist, condemned the opposition parties of Manipur for not questioning and enquiring the report given in the re-cently concluded Manipur Legislative Assembly by the Chief Minister regar-ding the Bir Tikendrajit (BT) Road incident on July 23 in which two persons, inclu-ding a young pregnant woman was killed.
Addressing a press meet at the Manipur Press Club on Monday afternoon, Y.Kapoor appealed to all the Joint Action Committees (JACs) to work with sincerity and find out the real culprits and not to accept the ex-gratia from the government before the case is completed.
