The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has categorically announced that it will not seek any kind of help, whether in kind or coin from the public in connection with the celebration of the 32nd foundation day of the party to be held on October 9 .
Aheiba Angom, Secretary in Charge, Department of Publicity and Propaganda, PREPAK today stated in a press release that Kangleipak, situated in the south east Asia, west of Myanmar and north east of India, was once a sovereign independent kingdom.
However, during a dark chapter in the history of Kangleipak, king Bodhachandra's signature was somehow forcibly taken away on September 21 of 1949.Since that day, Kangleipak has been a colonial land of India, Aheiba Angom stated.
He further stated that since then the Kangleichas (people of Kangleipak) have been bearing endless hardships under the colonial rule and oppression.
The party has been waging an armed revolution to regain the lost sovereignty and independence of Kangleipak for the last 32 years, he stated.
In connection with the celebration of the foundation of the party, no help of any kind will be demanded from the public, Aheiba Angom announced and appealed to the people not to give money or material to anyone who comes asking for the same for celebration of the foundation day.
He stated that this step has been taken in view of the hardships being faced by the people now-a-days.

If anybody comes asking for monetary or material help, please do not give, he appealed.
The 32nd foundation day this year will be celebrated as simply as possible, he said.
