Dr M Nara who was among the seven persons of the country participated in the China-India-Russia People Peace Forum held at Chinese capital, Beijing on July 10 and 11 today said the forum which focused on the changing global scenario was a successful one.
Speaking at a press conference held at Irabot Bhavan today Dr Nara said the forum was organized jointly by the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Development, All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation and Russian Society for Asia-African Solidarity and Co-operation.
Thirty delegations from these three countries took part in the forum which was held on July 10 and 11 he said adding that seven delegations including him represented the country.
During the two day long forum, the delegations deliberated on the change taking place globally in all fields.
With the advancement of science and technology, countries of the world more and more depend to each other.
It also discussed on the changing climatic condition, food security, energy and resource security and public health security in a very suggestive manner, he said.
