Seminar on "Shaping Students' Prospects in Medical Career" held

In a bid to encourage medical aspirants, A-cad Manipur branch has held a seminar under the banner "Shaping students' prospects in medical career" at Imphal Valley Academy, Ghari, Imphal Sunday.
Resource persons at the seminar highlighted the various prospects of choosing medical/doctor as a career.
Medical entrance examination being very competitive, experts at the event pointed out that the students need proper guidance to equip themselves and prepare early.
Students in the State usually join coaching classes and prepare for the medical entrance examination only after Class XII .
It is a very tough competition, so students need to prepare just after they pass Class X examinations, said Leimapokpam Manimohon Singh, representative/head Admission Cell of A-cad Manipur branch, speaking to media persons at the event.
Retired Medical Director, Directorate of Health Services Manipur S Ibomcha Singh, Medical Superintendent JNIMS Professor Ranbir Singh Laishram, Senior Consultant/Assistant Professor Respiratory Department JNIMS Dr P Sarat and MD Biochemistry JNIMS Dr Th Opendro attended the event as presidium members.
The seminar was held under the aegis of former director of Akash Institute M Mishra.
