Multi Activity Camp for children

School's out, but that doesn't mean kids have to stop learning or stop having fun.
With the aim of enhancing creativity amongst the children of various age group, Moltuk Battalion organised a Multi-Activity Camp for the children in Molcham on 07 Jul 2018 .
Various activities were organise for kids in a safe environment that made them feel welcome.
The multi-activity camp had been planned by the unit of 26 Sector Assan Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(South) to positively engage the locals especially the children.
The one day camp was organised at Company Operating Base Molcham.
The day began with breakfast for everyone which was followed by the opening speech by Officer Commanding Company Operating Base Molcham.

Events were distributed in various categories with different events designed for different age group.
'Healthy Baby Competition' was conducted for children in the age group 0-4 years.
For children in the age group of 4-8, drawing completion, sack race and lemon-in-spoon race was organised.
For the eldest in the group i.e 8-14, 100 metre sprint and lemon-in-spoon race was conducted.
The villagers as well the children actively participated in the competetion.
The enthusiasm with which the children participated in the events was enthusing and validates the connect and rapport which the troops have garnered with the locals.
The unit cashed-in-on this opportunity and carried out medical check of all the children.
Regimental Medical officer of the Battalion inspected the health of the kids and also suggested to parents the ways and means to keep their children in good health.
To keep up the motivation of the children and as a reward for their enthusiastic participation, all the kids were distributed with gifts at the end of the camp which culminated with lunch for all.
The event was aimed at offering the kids an enriching and learning experience.
Kids were motivated to explore new talents and interests to realise their potential.
A total of 07 school teachers, 02 village chiefs and 121 children of various age groups attended the competition.
