The Phungyar constituency MLA, Wungnaoshang Keishing has today urged the Consumer Affairs, Food and PDS minister, Y Erabot to take action over the complain of non-availability of Kerosene oil to agents of Ukhrul district for the month of February.
Addressing reporters today at the Manipur Legislative Assembly�s opposition room, W Keishing said that the earlier allegation that the FCS Minister had sold out the kerosene quota of Phungyar AC, which appeared in local dailies was a truth.
He said that the MLA quota permit was given to a worker and instead of reaching the kerosene to the people of Phungyar, it was sold off.
Keishing said that the minister had chided the worker for which he also conveyed gratitude to the Minister for his timely action.
Wungnaoshang said that the amount of kerosene for the month of February for Ukhrul district was 113kl, and the same was issued on February 9. He urged the minister to find out how the kerosene has gone missing and to initiate action against any culprit found involved in the mislaying of the kerosene.
At the same time, while also conveying gratefulness to the minister for delivering rice and sugar to each subdivisions of Ukhrul, Wungnaoshang also urged the FCS minister to deliver kerosene to each subdivision.
