Imphal, September 28 2009:
After organising a two-day free hearing detection camp on its campus on September 25 and 26 successfully, Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology, Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Langol organised another special hearing detection camp for the students of Government School of Deaf and Mute, Takyelpat today.
During the camp, a total of 42 patients including 19 students from the School with hearing defects availed of hearing test facility performed by Consultant Audiologist and Speech Pathologist of Shija Hospital Dr RK Thouba.
The camp was organised to commemorate the Dead Awareness Week being observed worldwide every year from September 24 to 30 .
