Kohima, Jan 31 (NEPS):
Union Minister for DONER and Tribal Affairs, PR Kyndiah, is arriving Kohima on February 3 to review and hold
discussions on various schemes and projects under his ministry.
He is also expected to have a wide range of discussions with the high-ranking state
officials in areas where the DONER and Tribal Affairs Ministry can give maximum emphasis.
Coming for the first time to the State after assuming Union Minister, Kyndiah will first land in Shillong to attend the North East Chief
Ministers� Conference and thereafter to Nagaland by chopper.
On his arrival, he will be meeting State Governor Shymall Datta, Chief Minister Neiphiu
Rio and his Council of Ministers.
He will also meet State�s two MPs, besides public delegations.
The State Government is reported preparing a
memorandum to submit to the visiting Union Minister with regard to the schemes and projects under DONER and Tribal Affairs Ministry.
The next day, the Union Minister will visit the Congress Office where he is expected to interact party functionaries and finally meet the
press at 10.30 a.m.
