Imphal, May 15 2009:
UKLF has strongly condemned the reported attack by KNA on its cadres at Gunjil village in the border area of Chandel district at about 5 pm of May 12 in which two UKLF cadres were killed.
A press release issued by its newly appointed publicity and information secretary Mathew alleged that the KNA/KNO has been acting beyond the ceasefire ground rules it signed with the Government and also betraying its own people.
Asserting that causing bloodshed to its own people will never help in realising Zalengam, the UKLF urged upon the authority concern to take up necessary actions immediately.
The outfit also condoled its two slain cadres and shared the pain and grief being endured by the bereaved families.
