Members of AMADA staged a Wakat Meepham at Keishampat Juncture here today expressing solidary to the cause of the pharmacists have been have forced to shut down following heavy monetary demand from a UG group.
Setting May 17 as the deadline for resolution of the matter related to force closure of the pharmacists in Imphal following the monetary demand of the KCP (Puranthaba) group, AMADA has also warned of mass agitation if the matter is not resolved.
Participating in the protest demonstration, publicity and propaganda secretary of AMADA head office K Hemabati Chanu said AMADA has been taking up various programmes under its Health Care Mission and so it seriously viewed the obstruction given medical related ervices.
She also called upon all concerned to stop imposition of heavy monetary demands from hospitals, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies.
