Imphal, May 15 2009:
A peaceful and tranquil state is what the three Class XII examination toppers wish to see in the State in the coming days.
The three toppers expressed that unrest prevailing in the state hampers their studies in particular and the life of public in general.
Talking to The Sangai Express after the declaration of HSE 2009 results, Science stream topper Satyaam Takhellambam said that there were instances of fear in going out for tuition due to the present turmoil of the State.

Arts topper Nongthombam Gunibani Devi also expressed concern over using of bandhs and blockades as means to pursue any demand in the State.
According to her, such frequent agitations affect much in their studies, and also to poor people.
Echoing the same view, Commerce topper Maisnam Shinapal said that school syllabus could not be completed in time due to frequent closure of schools that in turn gave undue pressure in the minds of the students.
Talking about their ambitions, Satyaam and Gunibani want to become IAS officers after completing their Graduation or Post Graduation while Shinapal aspires for a Charter Accountant.
They all gave credit for their success to their parents, school teachers, God and self.
According to them, the triumph was not possible without the support of their parents and school teachers.
Having penned down more than 150 poetry, Satyaam said that his hobbies are novel reading and writing poetry.
Satyaam who stood second position in the Class X (HSLC) exam in 2007 is also a Chacha Nehru Award winner.
Shinapal on the other hand is an entertainment buff as she said that she watched almost all Manipuri and English movies.
Regarding her strenghts, Shinapal said that she is a quick learner, even though she cannot sit for hours for studies.
Satyaam said that he is a hard worker having a good reading habit since childhood.
Gunibani too is a hardworker emphasising more in the thorough study of text books.
Fathers of Satyaam and Shinapal are businessmen while their mothers are housewives.
As Gunibani's father had expired some time back and her mother being unable to give necessary support to her studies, her school, Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School shoulders the responsibility of her needs.
