Imphal, December 21 2008:
Rotary Club of Imphal today organised Pulse Polio Immunisation programme by opening 12 booths in between Keishmpat and Khoyathong Traffic Point and immunised altogether 1292 children in the age group of 0 to 5 years.
The Club also opened one booth each at Shija Hospital, Babina Diagnostic Centre and Imphal Hospital & Research Centre.
Moreover, Club members also conducted house to house survey to make sure no child missed from administering Pulse Polio drops.
The Club secretary Pramod Jaiswal has expressed gratitude to Shija Academy of Nursing for providing 30 nurses and has also thanked Dr Priyokumar for providing all the necessary materials to make the programme a success.
