Stating that the academic atmosphere in this violence-ravaged State has been hampered by different forms of a agitations, social worker, educationist and retired teacher Nongmaithem Ibo-mcha has suggested the parents to send their wards to good educational institutions outside the State only to get rid of it.
''Our children/students will only enjoy learning their full academic tenure without any disruptions while studying outside the State.
This does not mean to belittle out good institutions'', he told reporters on the sidelines of a test conducted to select local children for admitting them to Vignan Residential Schools and Colleges (VRSC), Visakhapatnam at Hotel Anand today.
VRSC Manager CS Rao said the institution is the pioneer ion the residential system of education in Andhra Pradesh.
Based on the principal of Global standards and Indian values, the Visakhapatnam chapter of Vignan was established in 1995 at Thimmapuram with only 14 students.
Now it has grown into a mammoth establishment with nearly 2500 students, he said.
Every year, at least 98.5 percent of the students successfully cleared in all the examinations including class X, XII and Engineering and Medical Common Entrance tests conducted across the country.
