Imphal, July 02: To take stock of the road communication on NH-53, the Chief Engineer, Project Sewak, Brig S Narasimhan toured NH-53 and other roads under the BRTF from June 28 till July 1, said a statement issued by the 25 BRTF today.

The Commander of the BRTF apprised the CE about the conditions at NH-53 where the BRTF has cleared about 70 landslides as well as the four still active landslides.

The CE advised remedial action for the landslides which are active during the heavy rain.

The CE was also informed that the Khongsang to Tousem via Tamenglong road is under the PWD, said the statement.
