'13' becomes lucky for Manipur Polo International

The unlucky number 13 became lucky as USA and France defeated their rival teams by 13 goals in the second day of the Eighth Edition of Manipur Polo International organised in connection with the ongoing Sangai Festival by Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association at Maphal Kangjeibung.
USA rode on Jacob Brown's brace in defeating Mongolia by 13-2in the first match.
In the first Chukker, Jacob Brown scored two goals.
Teammate Danielle and Sebastian Aycinena also scored one goals each.
Till the second Chukker Mongolia could not opened their scoring but USA added three goals through Baniell, Jacob Brown and Wyatt.
At the end of the Chukker USA led 7-0 goals over Mongolia.
Mayagmaryao Adiya opened scoring for Mongolia in the 5.32 minute of the third Chukker.
USA also added another two goals to their mammoth score in the Chukker through Tongyeng Jognini.
Mongolia's score opener Adiya scored their second and last goal in the .09 minute of the last Chukker.
On other hand, like the first Chukker, USA could earn four goals from the fourth Chukker.
Tongyeng Jognini and Jacob Brown scored two goals each to register a big margin 13-0 win in the first match.
In another match, France smashed Thailand by 13-7 goals.
Franch fetched three goals while Thailand could score only one goal in the first Chukker.
Rodolfo A Busquet, Marcelo Conde Grand and Bastien Mestrallet scored for France.
The lone goal of the Thailand was scored by Jitipon Rogpsa Art.
In the second Chukker, France's top scorer Matias R Busquet scored three goals and teammate Rodolfo A Busquet, Bastien Mestrallet and Marcelo Conde Grand also contributed one goal each.
Jitipon Rogpsa Art also scored three goals for Thailand.
At the end of the Chukker France led Thailand by 9-4 goals.
Both the countries could score three goals each in the third Chukker.
Matias R Busquet scored one while Rodolfo A Busquet stroke two in the 2.25 and 5.17 minute.
For Thailand Jitipon scored two and Suphachai Sukhampha scored one.
One own goal sealed the win for France over Thailand by 13-7 goals.
