Catholic faithfuls take out Eucharistic procession

Tangkhul Catholic faithfuls on Sunday took out an Eucharistic march in Ukhrul and converged at Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) ground for holy mass.
More than 10 thousands of Catholic faithfuls took part in the Eucharistic march that was held from both ends of Ukhrul headquarters.
In the course of the holy procession, a special prayer was conducted intermittently at various points of the town.
A spectacular holy march mass finally converged at TNL ground and service was conducted dedicating special prayers for peace in the community and leaders of the society.
Members from about eight Parish centers comprising Hungdung, Choithar, Muirei, Kasom Khullen, Ukhrul, Talloi, Longpi and Chingjaroi village.
Rev.Fr.Louis Pallinunnel, Vicar General, Archdiocese of Imphal and Rev.Fr.TS Dominic, Chncellor, Archdiocese of Imphal delivered message on Christ the King and Year of the Family respectively.
Most Rev.Dr.Joseph Mittathany DD, Archbishop Emeritus of Imphal, exhorted the mass and invoked blessings for the holy occasion.
A holy sacrament was also carried along the procession escorted by 50 children as angels and brought to the mass service at TNL ground.
In today's programme, Archbishop of Imphal Rev.Fr.Dr.Dominic Lumon DD was supposed to deliver a reflection on Eucharist, but could attend the service due to ill health.
