Riding on Ashok Kumar's brace ESU, Wangkhei recorded its biggest win so far in the MK Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division football league tournament trouncing bottom of the table PYA, Kairang 4-1 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium today.
After Rameshwor opened the ESU score off a Rohen pass in the ninth minute, Ashok Kumar grabbed the limelight capping off his 37th minute goal with a well executed free kick from the top of the PYA box with the game 62 minutes old.
The two goal hero also played an important role in the team's fourth goal when he laid the ground work for K Ajit Kumar to slam home in the 75tn minute.
The PYA consolation goal scored in the 79th minute came through Khan Shah who tapped a loose ball near the goal following a goalkeeper goof-up in collecting the ball.
