Imphal, November 03 2011:
The retaining wall of Lairenpat Tourist Centre, which is under construction at an estimated cost of Rs 3.02 crores along the right side of Kongba-Irilbung Road under Imphal East district, has reportedly collapsed over a distance of 15 metres.
The pillars of the cafeteria attached to the Tourist Centre too have sunk.
Alleging lack of quality control in the construction work, people of the area have drawn the attention of the authorities concerned for necessary action.
